A Little About Us

Sheeba Abraham, Psy.S.

Licensed School Psychologist

Thanks for visiting our page. Let me introduce myself. My name is Sheeba Abraham and I'm a licensed and certified School Psychologist based in South Florida, specializing in screening, evaluation, and consultation services for school-age children. My goal is simple: to help you understand your child's strengths, identify challenges, and figure out the right next steps — whether that's at home, at school, or with outside providers.

I have a background in elementary education and school psychology, with over 20 years working in school districts alongside children of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities — from pre-K through high school. My areas of expertise include assessments for Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and ADHD, as well as Gifted and Developmental evaluations.

I know how overwhelming this process can feel for families, which is why I'm so passionate about walking alongside parents every step of the way. I'm deeply committed to providing equitable, culturally responsive care that meets each child exactly where they are, including neurodivergent students who deserve to be understood, not just accommodated.

Outside of work, I'm a mom to two busy, wonderful kids, wife to my incredibly supportive husband and the emotional support person for my super chill dog Goldie. When I'm not playing chauffeur, you'll usually find me traveling, working out, or just soaking up time with family and friends. I love traveling and discovering new places with the people I love most.

Licensed School Psychologist

Laura Tracey, Psy.S.

Laura's journey into school psychology began with a fascination for how the brain works, a love for working with children, and a desire to make school a better place for kids. With over 20 years of experience in education and school psychology, Laura has worked with children from early childhood through high school and into the transition to adulthood.

Laura’s expertise is completing psycho-educational evaluations to help understand a child’s strengths and weaknesses. Laura has been especially passionate about connecting with families, helping them make sense of complex evaluations, navigating educational systems, and empowering parents to advocate confidently for their children. She believes that while school is important, it is only one piece of the puzzle. A child's home environment, relationships, physical and mental health, and overall well-being all play meaningful roles in their growth and development. It was this belief, along with a desire to bridge the gaps she witnessed between schools and families, that inspired the creation of the Growing Forward Collective.

Laura believes that growing forward means progress, not perfection. It means continuing to learn, evolve, and move forward, even when the path isn't always clear.

Originally from Pennsylvania and now based in Central Florida, Laura finds joy in traveling, exploring new and local coffee shops, photography, and spending time with her partner Chris and their yellow lab, Jackson. She is also the founder of the Everyday Feathers Foundation, a nonprofit inspired by the loss of her beloved dog, dedicated to supporting families navigating canine cancer, advancing research to provide better treatments for canine cancers and recognizing the powerful connection between dogs and human mental health.
